The original tuck under liftgate for hassle-free deliveries. Available in 2,000 lb. lifting capacity.
Flipaway liftgates are welded to the frame of the vehicle chassis. The loading platform is designed with two folding sections. In the stored or travel position, the platform is folded and stored beneath the body floor, allowing access to the cargo area without activating the lift.

Aluminum Platform
Upgrade to an Aluminum Platform for weight savings and to protect against rust and corrosion.
Galvanized Mainframe
WALTCO offers the option to galvanize the mainframe of the liftgate. This option extends lead-time by 8 weeks, but increases the overall life of your liftgate. When you galvanize your liftgate, you protect it from rust and harsh weather elements. This is a sound investment for the total life of the liftgate.
Additional Control Options
In the world today, options are a necessity. That holds very true when it comes to operating your liftgate. WALTCO offers many convenient options to allow you to control your liftgate safely. Dual Controls - conveniently allow liftgate operation from the side of the vehicle or from another location. This is convenient and safe for single driver deliveries, allowing less climbing and more control. Hand Held Remote Kit - allows a larger viewing area for the operator. The remote cord moves with you to allow more control and visibility of your work space. Cab-Mounted Shut-off Safety Switch - this switch is mounted inside the cab and allows the driver to keep power to the liftgate off while it's not in use. This feature ensures the liftgate will not be available for unauthorized use.
Dock Bumper Options
WALTCO offers many additional options for various dock bumper requests. Some available options for our Flipaway dock bumpers include:

Entry Level Flipaway (up to 2,500 lb. capacity)
Flipaway Gate features a strong, durable steel platform that stores under the truck to facilitate dock deliveries.
Bed Heights 34"-52"
Accommodates bed heights as low as 34" and as high as 52", fitting most vehicles.
Reduced C-Series Maintenance Features
The C-Series includes the following features that reduce the maintenance needed on the liftgate and prolong the life of the equipment.
- Closed-loop hydraulic system reduces the potential for fluid contamination
- Powder coat finish that is exceptionally resistant to corrosion and abrasion
- Weather-protective power unit enclosure
- All wiring and connections meet or exceed increased TMC recommended guidelines
Easy-Fold
Equipped with torsion spring assist to make folding and unfolding the platform simple and smooth.
Power Up/Gravity Down
Power up/gravity down hydraulic system means the liftgate saves energy on the way down. Using less energy means your battery lasts longer without needing charged.
